I do not know if they will be willing to give a trial of a version that old, especially since they know you would not be purchasing later releases since the later releases will not run on the system.

Walter Roberson on 11 Feb Also this is not available for Student licenses. I am not certain whether it is available for Home licenses. For commercial and academic licenses the license administers might have disabled downloading.

Rik on 18 Jan I have just installed it or more specifically, Rb and let the activation module figure out if my license fits. I assumed it would tell me if I wouldn't be permitted to download an older release. Although to be fair, I have a license through my university which some people confusingly call student license as well.

Thanks guys for the quick response. Rik I went to the link you provided but got a message that I could not download because I didn't have license. So I logged in to my Mathworks account and was able to send a message to support giving them my license number and asking them if I could download ver Rb which I think is the last ver that supported 32 bit.

Jerry Barber on 22 Jan I contacted Matlab's sales department and asked if I could download an older version of Matlab under my school's license. The response was that my shool's license did not include older versions and so they are not available to me to download.
